Reduce energy use - Use energy-saving devices, take public transport, and make your home more energy efficient. Save water - Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, fix any leaks, and use water wisely—for example, by watering plants with rainwater. Recycle and compost - Sort your waste, recycle paper, plastic and glass, and compost food scraps to reduce landfill waste. Support sustainable choices - Buy eco-friendly products and support companies that care about the environment. Take environmental action - Join clean-up events and help others learn why protecting nature is important.

Visiting the Książ Castle and the Palm House in Wałbrzych, you can improve your digital skills: Use a QR Code Find at least one QR code on the castle grounds or in the palm house. Scan it and read the additional information that appears on your screen. Search for Information Online Use your browser to look up additional information about Książ Castle or interesting facts about the plants in the palm house.  Use a Translator If you come across information signs in a foreign language, use Google Translate to translate. Try the camera translation feature in Google Lens.  Identify Plants with Google Lens In the palm house, choose a plant you’d like to know more about. Use Google Lens to identify it and learn more about it. Are there any flowers that purify the air that you can grow at home?   🕍 Church of Grace The Holy Cross Elevation Church This big church was built for Protestants in the 18th century. It has the shape of a cross and a beautiful dome. Inside, there are many balconies and an old organ. Today, it is used for concerts too. The park around the church was once a cemetery. There are old tomb chapels and a monument that marks the center of the city. Watch a film ⛪ Orthodox Church of Saints Peter and Paul This church was built in 1738. It was first Catholic, but after World War II, it became Orthodox. It is used by people from the East who came to live here.
