🕍 Church of Grace The Holy Cross Elevation Church

This big church was built for Protestants in the 18th century.
It has the shape of a cross and a beautiful dome.
Inside, there are many balconies and an old organ.
Today, it is used for concerts too.
The park around the church was once a cemetery.
There are old tomb chapels and a monument that marks the center of the city.

⛪ Orthodox Church of Saints Peter and Paul

This church was built in 1738.
It was first Catholic, but after World War II, it became Orthodox.
It is used by people from the East who came to live here.
In the wall, you can see two medieval "penitence crosses" – signs of old justice.

🐂 "The Abduction of Europa" Sculpture

This metal statue shows a Greek story – Zeus and Europa.
It was made to celebrate Poland joining the European Union.
The artist is from Armenia and lives in Poland.


🏰 Wojanowska Tower, Gate and St. Anne's Chapel

This was part of the city’s defense in the Middle Ages.
It had both military and religious functions.
In the chapel, you can see a painting of Saint Anne with baby Jesus.
You can also see old openings for shooting arrows in the walls.

🌊 Neptune Fountain

This fountain shows Neptune – the god of the sea.
It reminds us of old trade with faraway countries.
It was built in the 19th century near the old city well.


🏛️ Town Hall and Seven Houses

The Town Hall was built in the 18th century.
It is the center of city government.
Next to it are arcaded houses, where rich citizens lived and worked.
Today, offices and the registry are inside.


🗼 Castle Tower

This tower was part of a gate to the castle road.
It was built in 1584.
It has a deer symbol on top – the sign of Jelenia Góra.
The tower was also a city prison.


🧱 Grodzka Tower

This tower was part of the old city walls.
Later, people lived in it – doctors, merchants, and even the postmaster.
In modern times, it was used for cultural activities.
Now, it is a guesthouse.
